The Building Blocks Scholarship is a project devised and supported by the Eastbourne Branch of the English-Speaking Union. This project is being conducted in collaboration with The University of Glasgow.
After school Alice and I headed off in the car to Virginia. Our route took us down through the Allegheny State Park in Pennsylvania before a stop in Ridgway to have ice-cream at Two Scoops. Dropping down into Virginia I took the back roads all the way to Orange where we were welcomed by Nan to the family Memorial Day weekend.

William Glover graduated as a teacher from Glasgow University in 1994. He is a schoolteacher of quite exceptional pedigree. Notably he has been Britain’s youngest educational senior manager, National Education Director of Technology 2000, nominated as Teacher of the Year and awarded a Schoolmaster’s Fellowship at Oxford University.
