The University of Glasgow is the fourth oldest university in the UK and Scotland's second oldest university (after St Andrew's). Glasgow University founded in 1451 sits majestically in the West End of a city that is today one of the cultural capitals of Europe.

William Glover graduated as a teacher from Glasgow University in 1994. He is a schoolteacher of quite exceptional pedigree. Notably he has been Britain’s youngest educational senior manager, National Education Director of Technology 2000, nominated as Teacher of the Year and awarded a Schoolmaster’s Fellowship at Oxford University.
